Something Developing. A spectator freely selects a card and sets it aside face down. You introduce three playing cards that are blank on both sides that represent "pieces of photographic paper." One of the three pieces of "photo paper" is chosen by the spectator and signed on its back. The signed paper is inserted between the other two and in a flash, a blurry image of the spectator's selected card appears on the face of the "photographic" paper. A strong walk-around and close-up effect that leaves a souvenir with spectators.

You bring out a card that is blank on both sides and three spectators each select a playing card (no influence). You explain that the blank card is a "casino cut card," which gamblers use to cut multiple decks that have been shuffled together in casinos. Of course, the casinos use plastic "cut cards," but you explain that this is an older model. You gather the three selected cards and place the blank card on top of them. At this point, the trick becomes a four-card packet effect. Using a basic count and other moves, you show that the blank card becomes each of the three selected cards. For the finale, you rub the blank card over the entire spread-out deck, and it becomes the mixed-up, mish mash card, that displays bits of several cards. The finish is indeed a surprise.

Kenton removes a deck from a card case marked TRICK DECK. He proceeds to explain what this "special deck" does. The deck is fanned faces outward. All the red cards are seen on the faces - red cards only. But when Kenton shows the backs of the cards - the backs are all of the BLACK CARDS. That's right - a double-faced deck shown openly in a wide fan - front and back. But then... The deck is openly fanned to show ALL BACKS on BOTH SIDES. Not just one or two backs are seen. Many backs are visible on all sides, from the top to the bottom of the deck. And then... All the black cards turn face up in the deck. A selected card is peeked at and after some by play, Kenton names the card. Big deal? He "explains" that this is easy because after all the shuffles and mixes the deck is in perfect order - and it is. Then he has the spectator examine the deck. IT'S A REAL, REGULAR DECK! Did we mention this is all just "Phase One" of a four phase routine? The deck is repeatedly shuffled by the performer, even by the spectator, yet the deck always separates into reds and black cards! A visual change of any hand into a Royal Flush Imagine this, you're holding a lousy hand of poker spread at the fingertips. In a subtle action of riffling the edges of the cards, they seem to magically morph into a royal flush. The cards are visible the whole time and can immediately be handed out for examination..

You display a small packet consisting of four blue-backed Aces. Each time the face-down packet is given a "twist" or a "spin," a different Ace is seen face-up in the packet. After three "spins," each of three Aces has turned face up-Hearts, Clubs and Diamonds. Now, you deliberately turn the Ace of Spades face-up and suddenly all four Aces are face-up.

You place the Ace of Spades face-down on your spectator's open palm and say you will make it vanish and appear between the other three Aces. The other Aces are held in your left hand in a face-up spread. Nothing happens. At least, that's the way it seems. However, when you turn over the "Ace of Spades," it's now blank-it's vanished. And, when your audience looks back at the spread of Aces, they see that the Ace of Spades has reappeared in the midst of the other Aces.

Now you offer to make the Aces change in full view. Nothing happens. At least that's the way it seems. But when you deal each of the four Aces face down into your spectator's open palm, each Ace has a different back design and color-four different colored backs.

Everything is clean and examinable. No palming or difficult moves.

A deck of cards with blue backs is shown, and all the cards are shown to be different. A spectator selects a card, and magically that card jumps to the top of the deck. But even more amazing than that, the entire deck becomes the spectator's card....and the cards had red backs the whole time!
