This is a set of two 2" sponge balls with crocheted jackets to give them the appearance of solid balls. One ball has magnets embedded in it to permit you to use the balls with any Chop Cup. The large balls make a striking display, are more appropriate to the size of the cup, yet are compressible and can be finger palmed. Can be used with any Chop Cup.

A spectator holds one sponge cube in his closed hand. The magician touches his hand with a coin and the coin multiplies to two. A second time the spectator holds two sponge cubes and another touch of the coin causes them to multiply to three. Finally the three cubes are plainly placed in the hand. "Would you believe there are four now?" asks the magician. He touches the hand with the coin and when the spectator opens his hand there is one large sponge cut in the shape of a 4.

A red ball disappears and turns into a large red cube and a black ball.

At the end of a sponge ball routine, one of the 1" sponge balls is placed into the centre of an 18" silk hankdkerchief and its four corners are twisted together. A spectator is invited to squeeze the ball through the silk. Then, with all eyes on the silk-wrapped ball, a very beautiful effect happens - the ball is seen to get visibly larger as if it were inflating like a balloon. When the silk is removed the ball has grown to the size of a grapefruit.

Although this trick is called a ball trick and the word 'balls' is used in describing it, the trick is actually done with tiny cubes.

Two rabbits are shown on the table, one is named Papa and the other named Mama. The Mama rabbit is held in the closed fist of one hand and the Papa is placed in the jacket pocket. Upon saying "Papa, come to Mama", the hand is opened to reveal both rabbits.

A magician or clown shows four cards, each with a picture of a clown's face. All the pictures are identical except that they're a different colour. The cards are mixed which proves no prearrangement. A card is selected whilst the magician's back is turned so that he can mentally divine the colour of the chosen clown's nose.

Mama and Papa Rabbit change hands and appear together resulting in a family of rabbits.

Welcome to the wonderful world of eyeball magic! It is one of the lesser-known areas of magic. With these sponge eyeballs that Alan Wong has created you will be able to create many different kinds of 'eye-popping' effects. Some of you may choose the creepy crawly route. Others have chosen to go the comedy route, as professional magician Steve Marshall has been known to do from time to time. This routine contains more than a few corny (or possibly cornea) jokes. Three small sponge balls of different colours mysteriously travel one by one from the magician's pocket to his hand. Finally the three small balls change into a large three coloured ball.

2" sponge ball changes into a 6" high (approx.) rabbit.

A red ball is shown and placed in the left hand. It disappears and is found in the right hand trouser pocket. Placing the red ball on top of the left closed fist and pushing it in with his forefinger, the magician asks the spectator "which hand is the red ball in?" The spectator is always wrong - the right hand has a giant red cube in it and the left hand has a black ball in it. The original red ball is now found back in the right hand trouser pocket.

A sponge cube is shown and placed on top of the left fist which has been shown to be empty. The right index finger pokes the cube out of sight into the left fist. The two hands are separated and the audience are asked which hand the cube is in. It doesn't make any difference - both hands are opened and each contains a sponge ball. Place the two balls together and once again poke them down into the left fist. Open the left hand and both balls have vanished and in the fist is the cube again.

A small sponge ball is shown to the audience. It is pushed into the opening of your left fist with the thumb of your right hand. When you open your left hand the ball has doubled in size.

A red sponge ball and a black sponge ball are pushed into the left fist. The red ball turns into a large 4 inch red ball and the black ball changes into a number of very small black balls.

1½" sponge ball changes to a 5" high (approx.) rabbit.
