This is quite possibly the most charming card trick ever invented! A spectator names any card (no force). You then reveal that the entire deck has little stick-figure magicians drawn on it. Then, to the general delight of all onlookers, the end of the deck is flicked, the cards rush by one at a time, and the drawings become an animated cartoon! The stick-figure magician pulls a card from his top hat and turns it over to reveal that it is the same card that the spectator named! This can be repeated immediately with any card as many times as you like. It's one of those rare tricks that's even more amazing the second time you see it, yet there are no difficult sleights required. This one is destined to become a classic!

You then explain that the rest of the cards match too, but when you turn them over, they are all black - a startling climax!

A deck of about 40 cards, blank on the backs with simple drawings on the faces. The pack is shuffled and the performer turns his back a spectator cuts the deck and removes the card that has been cut to. The spectator concentrates on the picture on the chosen card and the performer describes and draws a duplicate of the chosen design.

The magician casually spreads a deck of cards face-up, showing that they are well shuffled. He then squares them up and turns the deck face-down. After pointing out the fact that each card in the deck has been numbered, in order, from 1 to 52 he announces that he will think of a card and states what it is, for example the Two of Hearts. After he has committed to this card, he asks a spectator to just think of any number between 1 and 52 and then call it out loud. The magician deals down to that position in the deck to find the Two of Hearts!

Asked to perform some magic, the magician takes out a box from his pocket, which houses a deck of cards. The box has a cut out window on top and an opening at one end. The card case is clearly visible through the window and opening of the box.

He takes out the card case from the box and leaves the box on the table. He opens the case and removes a card, say the Nine of Diamonds. He declares that he will insert this card inside the card case over the rest of the cards. He states that he will replace the case inside the box, and cause the Nine of Diamonds to penetrate the whole deck, the case, and the box and drop out. His actions follow his words. But nothing seems to happen.

Confused, he turns the box over and to everyone's surprise the entire deck of cards have disappeared, leaving the box completely empty!!!
